Lemon Crumb Bars Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
03 - 2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
05 - 4 large eggs
06 - 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
07 - Zest of one lemon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
02 - In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and softened butter until crumbly; press into the bottom of the dish. Bake for 15 minutes.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, eggs, lemon juice, zest, and the remaining flour until smooth.
04 - Pour the lemon mixture over the pre-baked crust and return to the oven for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
05 - Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
