→ Main Ingredients

01 - 900 grams carne asada or skirt steak, very thinly sliced

→ Marinade

02 - 60 millilitres olive oil
03 - 60 millilitres cider vinegar
04 - 60 millilitres beef broth
05 - Juice of 1/2 orange
06 - Juice of 1 lime
07 - 40 grams chopped onion
08 - 115 grams diced chilis
09 - 30 grams diced jalapeno
10 - 30 millilitres soy sauce
11 - 15 millilitres Worcestershire sauce
12 - 1/2 bunch cilantro, stemmed and chopped
13 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
14 - 5 millilitres chipotle chili powder
15 - 5 millilitres green Tabasco sauce
16 - 2.5 millilitres ground Mexican oregano

# Instructions:

01 - Combine olive oil, cider vinegar, beef broth, orange juice, lime juice, onion, diced chilis, jalapeno, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cilantro, garlic, chipotle chili powder, green Tabasco sauce, and oregano in a large resealable bag. Mix thoroughly to distribute flavors.
02 - Add sliced steak to the bag, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Remove excess air, seal the bag tightly, and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, up to 8 hours for deeper flavor.
03 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grate if necessary.
04 - Place marinated beef strips on the hot grill. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side until cooked through, turning once. Watch closely as thin cuts cook rapidly.
05 - Remove beef from the grill and let it rest for several minutes. Slice thinly against the grain and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For best tenderness, always slice grilled steak thinly against the grain.
