Preheat oven to 175°C.

In a large bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Italian salad dressing, and 75 g of shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix thoroughly until homogeneous.

Slice French bread lengthwise in half. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of both halves.

Place the bread halves, cut side up, on a baking tray. Sprinkle evenly with grated Parmesan cheese, then top with the remaining 200 g of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 175°C for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Increase oven temperature to 230°C and continue baking for up to 8 minutes until the cheese begins to brown. Monitor closely to avoid over-browning.

Remove bread from the oven. Slice into 2.5 cm pieces. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
