Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Apples

01 - 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 each)
02 - 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored

→ Butter Mixture

03 - 2 sticks of butter
04 - 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste

→ Soda

07 - 1 can (12oz) of 7 Up or Mountain Dew

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
02 - Wash, peel, and cut the apples into eight equal slices. Place in a bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, mix, and set aside.
03 - Unwrap the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
04 - Butter a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
05 - Place a piece of apple on the wider side of each triangle of dough, roll it into a crescent shape, and arrange them in the baking dish.
06 - In a separate bowl, combine butter, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and liquid, then pour over the rolls.
07 - Pour soda between the rolls, ensuring the soda does not cover the tops.
08 - Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
09 - Serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
