Christmas Gooey Butter Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened.
03 - 1 large egg.
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
05 - 15 oz white cake mix.
06 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
07 - 1 1/2 cups Christmas sprinkles (red, white, green).
08 - 2 cups Ghirardelli white chocolate melting chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix butter and cream cheese until smooth.
02 - Beat in egg and vanilla.
03 - Mix in cake mix.
04 - Fold in 3/4 cup sprinkles.
05 - Cover and refrigerate overnight.
06 - Heat oven to 350°F.
07 - Line cookie sheets with parchment.
08 - Scoop dough and roll into balls.
09 - Add extra sprinkles to balls.
10 - Roll in powdered sugar.
11 - Place on cookie sheets.
12 - Bake 8-10 minutes until light brown.
13 - Cool on wire rack.
14 - Melt white chocolate in microwave.
15 - Dip half of each cookie in chocolate.
16 - Add sprinkles while chocolate is wet.
17 - Let chocolate harden completely.
