Blueberry Iced Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 1.5–2 litres cold water
02 - 3–4 family-size cold brew tea bags (such as Luzianne)

→ Blueberry Syrup

03 - 300 grams fresh blueberries, washed
04 - 500 millilitres water
05 - 200 grams granulated sugar
06 - Juice of ½ lemon

# Instructions:

01 - Combine washed blueberries, 500 millilitres water, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat.
02 - Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer the mixture for 15 minutes to infuse and thicken.
03 - Remove from heat. Strain syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a measuring cup, discarding the solids. Refrigerate syrup while preparing tea.
04 - Fill a 2–2.5 litre glass pitcher with cold water. Add tea bags and steep for 5 minutes at room temperature.
05 - Remove tea bags. Pour chilled blueberry syrup into the brewed tea and stir until thoroughly mixed.
06 - Pour into glasses filled with ice. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Blueberry Iced Tea can be refrigerated in a glass pitcher for up to 3 days. Stir well before serving as natural settling may occur.
