Place softened cream cheese, sour cream, Ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, freshly shredded cheddar cheese, diced green onions (or chives), and crumbled bacon in a large mixing bowl. Using a silicone spatula, blend thoroughly until all components are evenly incorporated.

Transfer the cheese mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Enclose with the wrap and gently mold into a uniform ball shape.
