Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 450 grams cream cheese, softened to room temperature
02 - 45 milliliters sour cream
03 - 30 grams Ranch seasoning mix
04 - 3.5 grams garlic powder
05 - 170 grams cheddar cheese, preferably a mix of sharp yellow and white, freshly grated
06 - 60 milliliters green onions, finely diced, or substitute 80 milliliters finely chopped chives
07 - 6 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled

→ Optional Garnish

08 - Chopped pecans, for rolling (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Place softened cream cheese, sour cream, Ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, freshly shredded cheddar cheese, diced green onions (or chives), and crumbled bacon in a large mixing bowl. Using a silicone spatula, blend thoroughly until all components are evenly incorporated.
02 - Transfer the cheese mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Enclose with the wrap and gently mold into a uniform ball shape.
03 - Refrigerate the wrapped cheese ball for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the structure to firm.
04 - Remove the cheese ball from the plastic wrap and, if desired, roll in chopped pecans. Set on a serving platter and present with crackers, raw vegetables, pita chips, or crusty bread.

# Notes:

01 - Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature for approximately 1 hour to facilitate smooth mixing.
02 - For best flavor and texture, shred cheddar cheese from a block rather than using pre-shredded varieties.
03 - Ranch seasoning mix is essential; do not substitute with Ranch dip mix, as flavors differ.
04 - Cheese ball can be prepared up to 2 days in advance and stored refrigerated.
05 - To save time, cook and cool bacon the day prior to preparation.
06 - Forming into multiple bite-sized balls and serving with toothpicks adds versatility for parties.
